YOUTH SPRING 2021 INFORMATION
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
April 2nd, 2021 (11pm).
Participants must be registered and paid by this date or $35 late fee is applied to registration.
Due to creating teams, contacting coaches, scheduling and all other administrative tasks required, the league staff needs 3-4 weeks to prepare for the start of a season and therefore must have a registration deadline.
PROJECTED START DATE:
Projected Start Date: Between April 12th and May 1st, 2021.
This is a projected date, based on government guidelines the season may begin after May 1st. We have listed potential start dates with corresponding end dates, located down this page in a separate section.

- GST added to all above pricing. $25/Jersey fee added to all registrations
- Sessions: Generally 2 practices and 8 games. However, there may be more practices to begin the season depending on government guidelines
- Games may include Sundays or a different day of week if odd number of teams in division, or more than two games in a week occur.
- U5, U7 & U9 May are half court leagues.
PROJECTED START AND END DATES

Government of Saskatchewan Return to Play protocols may result to delay in projected start dates.

-2 games/week with Weekend Championship Tournament
-Later start date may result in weekend start up tournament with 3-4 games or some weeks with 3 games within the week. This would be done in order to end season in late June, first week of July as opposed to playing further into the summer.
-Games rescheduled due to Covid issues could result in an end date later than listed above.
POSSIBLE OUTCOMES WITH RETURN TO PLAY – PLEASE READ
Prior to registering, we would like our participants to be aware of potential situations that may occur within our season to based on some of the government’s restrictions or protocol.
- Later start date than anticipated (see above section)
- Team roster size could be 12-13 players, if 50 person cohorts are put in place.
- Divisions may consist of 4 teams if cohorts are put in place again
- Of the 14 sessions, there may be more practices than the standard 2 practices and 12 games in a normal season. This will be based on government restrictions
- U9 may be half court, based on cohort/registration numbers
- Players may be asked to dress prior to entering the facility, if dressing rooms are not available (excludes goaltenders.
- Parents may be limited to one parent in attendance.
- re-scheduled games do to Covid-19 issues, potential extension on above listed end dates due to re-scheduled games.
- Players being asked to wear facemasks (has not occurred in ball hockey to date)
REFUND POLICY
* Please read projected start and end dates – listed above.
- We anticipate an early May start date. If we can begin earlier we will would start as early as Mid April
- If we start in later mid to later may, we will still be able to complete the season by the end of June/first week of July.
SECTION #1: REFUND NO SEASON STARTED BY MAY 31st
We will begin our season when deemed possible by the Government of Saskatchewan. If we are able to begin our league prior to May 31st, we will be able to complete the season by the end of June/first week of July.
As of May 31st, if we are not able to start as season by this date individuals/teams will have option to be refunded based on criteria below or remain registered and wait for a later start date.
PLAYERS SEEKING REFUND AS OF MAY 31ST
If players choose to withdraw and be refunded prior to this deadline it is will be based on standard refund policy (See below section #2).
If no season can begin by May 31st players have the option to be remain registered or can be refunded, as follows:
- Individual Registrant will be returned full registration, $0 withheld (if paid by e-transfer)
- Individual Registrant will be returned full registration except $15 (if paid by credit card online)
- Team will be returned full registration, $0 withheld (if paid by interac)
- Team will be returned full registration except $250 (if paid by credit card)
SECTION #2: STANDARD REFUND POLICY
The following refunds are based on players requesting refunds prior to any season cancellation. If a player is requesting a refund prior to season start up in May. The standard refund policy is in place from the beginning of the online registration February 1st to May 31st.
Individual Refunds
- Individual refunds prior to registration deadline $50 fee
- Individual refunds after registration deadline, prior to season start up $75 fee
(plus jersey $25, if player is free agent)
- Individual refunds after season start up $75 fee PLUS per game fee of $15/game
(each game that TEAM, not individual, has played).
